In my first year of university I had this idea to create a piece which would shock viewers to help get the message across, I spoke about my idea to my tutor, and he told me I couldn't manage that because I had never tried sculpture before, Well here was my attempt.
I won an award and £500 for this piece, It was my first ever 3D sculpture. You can see all the process pics and a selfie of me with the tiger, Along with a picture of it in the exhibition with my mother, for scale this tiger came to 6ft ish.
This piece was created in my bedroom hanging off my bedroom door by a coat hander... Then we drove it to the art exhibition :D We got some interesting looks I tell you :D
This piece is a symbol saying to you as the viewer that have an option to help the tiger species since it was still alive just in a noose, you could cut it down essentially and help the tiger and nourish it back to good health, or you could just stand there and watch it die whilst doing nothing.
